Meas High School incorporates computer class into its curriculum
Three years ago, Lycee Sisowath Alumni and Friends of Lycee Sisowath realized the goal to establish a model computer laboratory at Lycée Sisowath. The mission of this campaign is to support educational programs on computer literacy in Cambodia by fostering partnership between concerned citizens, school authorities, teachers and students. Now, Pnhi Meas High School, located 6 km East of Phnom Chiso at Srok Prey Kabbas, Khet Takeo, is the first high school in rural area to incorporate computer class into its curriculum. Thanks to Lycee Sisowath Alumni Tan Chiep, an active member of Friends of Lycee Sisowath, for the initiative and his enthusiastic involvement as a catalyst agent to make the concept a reality. With the generosity of friends, family members inside and outside of Cambodia, and the support of a number of associations (Khmer Alliance Foundation, Fondation Enfants Cambodgiens, Friends of Lycee Sisowath), Pnhi Meas High School will celebrate the grand opening of the computer lab on November 1, 2006.
