JOINT AGREEMENT

Object: Project of Computer Lab for Pnhi Meas High School
at Srok Prey Kabbas, Khet Takeo,
Cambodia
On the request from Mr. Chiep Tan, an agreement has been entered between
Mr. Chiep Tan, donors representative in the USA and CANADA, on the one
hand, and KAF Executive Director, Mr. Chhang Marith on the other, to
get KAF as fiscal agent or sponsor of the project. Mr. Chiep Tan agrees
to be Project Leader of the Project of the Computer Lab.
Via a phone conversation on June 4, 2006, we hold the agreements below
as true to the best of our knowledge.
1. Mr. Chiep Tan assumes an active role in the project raising fund
among native friends from Prey Kabbas (Takeo) to help the purchase of
26 computers, 2 LCD projectors, 2 printers, one generator and other
necessary accessories.
2. The donation by check must be payable to the Khmer Alliance Foundation
and sent to Mr. Chiep Tan at 15211 SE. First Street, Bellevue, WA 98007.
3. Mr. Chiep Tan will send all checks to KAF Treasurer who will in turn
deposit those checks in KAF’s Sub-account for the project.
4. The request for withdrawal should
be made in writing and specifying the nature of need in the project.
5. Through its 501 (c) (3) status, KAF agrees to support the project
as fiscal agent in tax exempt for donors in the USA.
5. KAF will issue receipts or thank-you letters to donors/contributors
as long as their names and complete addresses are received by its office
at 112 Adams Dr., Kelso, WA 98626.
6. Upon Mr. Chiep Tan’s request, KAF agrees to help in fundraising
event to support the project.
7. As far as book keeping and records for revenues and expenses, KAF
Treasurer and Project Leader are invited to follow the accounting procedure
in order to avoid problem with the IRS.
